GAZEL eLearningi Policy and Strategy Summit - Feb 20th Mesa Convention Center

This one-day Greater Arizona eLearning Assoc. Policy and Strategy summit is a big deal. It is unique in it is not just a typical conference for networking and listening to presentations. For the first time leaders like you from the business, education, governance and enterprise world will toil away in workshopsi to develop policy and strategy for five critical areas of Arizona eLearning:

Accelerate adoption of eLearning into all of Arizona education including P-20 and workforce;

Develop Arizona’s potent eLearning enterprise businesses into the largest eLearning enterprise cluster in the world;

Make eLearning the central driver of workforce policy in Arizona;

Accelerate adoption of eLearning and collaboration technologies into every Arizona workplace; both public and private sector;

Create a dynamic eLearning technology and process researchi engine in Arizona.

Arizona eLearning Summit 2008 assumes that biotech is not the only emerging high tech industry in Arizona. eLearning and collaboration high tech industry has a much higher revenue and quality job potential than biotech. Itsi successful development would not only take Arizona’s economy to new heights but would transform its public education into a world leader.

But what is needed is an integrated Policy and Strategy for our Governance, Business and Education leaders. You are the expert. You need to produce the five elements for this policy/strategy Wednesday, February 20^th in Mesa Convention Center. Then GAZeL, eSATSi, AZeLTF and ATC will take it from there.

The Summit

eLearning, conferencing, collaboration and social networking technologies are enabling new global relationships and new models for learning that are dramatically changing the way we educate, communicate and conduct business in the Global Economy. With eLearning contributing over $3 billion annually to the state's economy the Summit will also address strategies to support Arizona eLearning enterprises in creating and delivering advanced technologies and services.
